Ever think much about it?

Whether you agree or not, your daily habits drive your success. To become a top CRE broker, you’ll need to cultivate positive habits and weed out bad habits. A lesson I learned early in my career.

One day a coworker, a broker, walked over to my desk, put a set of audiotapes down, and said, “I don’t know if you ever listen to this type of thing, but you can have these.” So I gave it a shot; I listened in the car on the way to work in the mornings. One topic was about bad habits. And it got me thinking about mine. We all have a few.

It was yet another moment that I realized there was so much more to learn. So I committed to learning something new each day.

That path connected me with dozens of teachers and got me going to seminars. I became a Life Mastery Graduate of the Tony Robbins program, attended seminars hosted by Brendon Burchard, and many more. Learning was key to overcoming my bad habits and achieving my professional goals. To this day, I still read, watch videos and webinars, habitually learn new things daily.

You’re likely learning that there is a considerable amount of CRE industry knowledge to be discovered and many vital skills to be developed. Don’t wait for a colleague or manager to share lessons with you. They are just as busy. Commit to yourself, grow your skills, and change your bad habits.

Now is a great time to start making positive changes with 2022 just around the corner.
